Traction Control Ceramic Frit is a slip-resistant coating applied to architectural glass stair panels and flooring, customizable in design and color. As in all architectural glass floor application engineered to withstand expected weight loads, safety is prioritized through the use of laminated glass with interlayers that bond panels together even in breakage. In addition, this type of application is typically made with heat-strengthened or tempered glass to increase strength.
The LED-lit architectural glass stairs in Aspen Colorado were triple-laminated and tempered, which provided superior strength and a beautifully layered side profile. The brilliant LED back-lighting cycles through a selection of colors.
